The Red Envelope

On March 20, fans of Billkin Putthipong and PP Krit are in for a treat as the beloved BL duo reunites after a long-awaited return to the genre. Their last collaboration was the 2021 hit I Promised You the Moon, the sequel to their widely successful series I Told Sunset About You. Their new project, The Red Envelope, is directed by Moo Chayanop, known for helming GMMTV's Friend Zone, a blend of BL and mainstream drama. This series is a remake of the 2022 Taiwanese film Marry My Dead Body.

In The Red Envelope, Billkin stars as Menn, a former petty thief turned police informant who unknowingly picks up a mysterious red envelope. This act binds him to a supernatural contract, forcing him into an unexpected marriage with a ghost named Titi, played by PP Krit. To break free from this eerie bond, Menn must uncover the truth behind Titi's untimely death.

With its unique supernatural twist, gripping mystery, and emotional depth, The Red Envelope promises to be a standout in the BL genre, offering an intriguing love story between a man from the living world and a ghost bound to another realm.
